GENERAL APPEARANCE: strong physique, wide chest and lower ribs, flat back line, powerful back on muscular legs, an excellent combination of strength and activity.
BEHAVIOR AND TEMPERAMENT: lively, active, courageous, has a great sense of dignity and pride in a playful appearance. Cautious, cheerful, courageous, self-confident, but friendly.
HEAD: The distance from the back of the head to the eyes is slightly greater than the length of the muzzle. The head is covered with dense hair, set at a right or less angle to the axis of the neck. The dog should not bear its head in an extended position.
CRANIAL REGION:
Skull: Slightly convex when covered with fingers across the forehead is a smooth arc. Tapering slightly from ear to eye.
Transition from the skull to the muzzle (feet): The pronounced is formed by a heavy bone protrusion, slightly hanging directly above the eyes, and a small indentation between the eyes.
FACIAL REGION:
Nose: Black, rather large, forming a smooth contour with the rest of the muzzle. The nose does not protrude forward.
Muzzle: The muzzle gradually tapers from the eyes to the end of the muzzle. It does not flatten and does not quickly fall down below the line of the eyes, but forms a well-built taut contour.
Jaws / Teeth: The jaws are powerful and even. The width between the fangs is sufficient to provide a tricky / playful expression of the muzzle. The teeth are large relative to the size of the dog, has a regular scissor bite, that is, the upper teeth tightly overlap the lower ones and are set at right angles to the jaws.
Eyes: Wide set, medium sized, not round, as dark as possible and set deep enough under the overhanging eyebrows, which gives the dog a penetrating and intelligent expression. Slightly recessed, insightful and smart, with a piercing gaze from under heavy brows. Light-colored eyes are highly undesirable.
Ears: Small, erect, holds confidently, spiky, set not too wide, not too narrow. Short and soft (velvety) coat should not be sheared. Fringe on the upper edge is absent. Rounded, wide, large or thick ears or ears overgrown with a large amount of hair are extremely undesirable.
NECK: Long enough to ensure a correct fit of the head, muscular and gradually thickens to the base, providing a smooth transition to the sloping shoulders.
CASE: Compact.
Back: Straight.
Loin: Broad and powerful.
Chest: Broad, ribs well curved in the upper half, presenting a smooth appearance on the sides. The hind ribs are significantly deepened, the distance from the last rib to the hind limbs is as short as it can provide free movement of the body.
TAIL: 13-15 cm long, covered with stiff hair, without fringe, as straight as possible, held proudly, but not too fervently and does not bend on the back. A long tail is undesirable, but stopping the tail is unacceptable.
LIMBS:
FOREQUARTERS:
Shoulders: Tilt back, scapula wide and close to chest. The shoulder joint is shifted forward.
Elbows: Pushed back, allowing the front legs to move freely parallel to the axis of the body.
Forearms: short and muscular, straight, covered with thick, short, coarse hair.
Forefeet: larger than hind legs, rounded, proportional in size, strong, with thick pads, covered with short, stiff hair. The bottom surface of the pads and all the claws are preferably black.
HINDQUARTERS:
General: Strong, muscular, broad at the top. The legs are short, muscular and sinewy.
Hips: Very muscular and not too wide apart.
Knee joint: well bent.
Hock joints: curved and located under the body in such a way as to be close enough to each other while moving or standing. Straight or weak hocks are highly undesirable.
Hind feet: smaller than the front feet, with thick pads, rounded, proportional in size, strong, with thick pads, covered with short, hard hair. The bottom surface of the pads and all the claws are preferably black.
GAIT / MOVEMENT: Free, straight and light on all sides. The forelimbs freely move forward from the shoulder. The rear ones move freely, powerfully, close to each other. The knee and hock joints bend well, the hock joints, pulling under the body, provide a strong push forward. Rigid, inelastic, stilted movement of the hind limbs and X-shaped limbs are highly undesirable.
LEATHER:
Lack of obvious skin problems.
WOOL COVER:
COAT: Two-layer. The outer layer consists of hard wool about 5 cm long, without any curls. The undercoat is like fur, short, soft and dense. Non-adherent wool is highly undesirable.
COLOR: White.
SIZE: Height at withers about 28 cm.
DISADVANTAGES: Any deviation from the above points should be considered as a disadvantage. The seriousness with which the deficiency should be assessed should be in exact proportion to the degree of its manifestation and its effect on the health and condition of the dog.
DISQUALIFYING FAULTS:
- Aggressive or overly fearful and shy dogs
- Any dog that clearly exhibits physical or behavioral abnormalities must be disqualified.
N.B .: Males should have two normal testicles fully descended into the scrotum.
